Diktator Grinder is home of the popular 2x72 belt grinder ideal for knife making and other industrial applications
The KMG was intentionally designed so that the motor was not an integral part of the machine which allows for unlimited choices in how the grinder is powered. This allows you to use just about any type of motor and it also allows to set the grinder up with different speeds by changing the pulley ratio between the motor and grinder.

Mar 05, 2012 Well I bought this Bader B2 from a local this past spring and I have been having issues with the belt tracking on the machine, it moves over about an inch off the wheel when I turn it on. the top wheel on it was ground down because the guy was using a 1 inch belt on it so I had the wheel evened out thinking it would solve the problem, it hasnt.

I have a very nice Kalamazoo Belt Grinder up for sale. Model BG260. Belt Size is 2 x 60 Motor is Baldor 3 Horsepower Single phase 120220volts. Machine is wired for 220v with a nema 6- 50 amp plug. Motor draws 12amps at 220v. 25amps at 120v. It appears to be unused and works great.
Sep 19, 2016 Im in the process of making a 2x72 belt grinder. It is somewhat based on the DCKnives online plans. However, I didnt like the way the tension wheel is just mounted atop a vertical post. I figured an arm, like a Bader, would make for easier belt changes. I also saw a production grinder with a gas shock instead of a spring.
